In this guide, I’ll cover thirteen different types of poems and provide examples of each. Once you’re more accustomed to “the rules,” you’ll be able to enjoy reading poetry a lot more, and you may even feel inspired to put pen to paper and write your own poems. Or maybe you’re already a poetry fan with a collection of poetry books either way, we could all benefit from brushing up on our knowledge and learning about the huge array of different types of poems out there, so we can enjoy more of this wonderful art form.
